Hey! Name’s Iver Marjerison. I’m a wedding planner and officiant who specializes in small weddings, micro-weddings, and elopements. I created Elope Colorado as a simple service to help couples plan last minute weddings that are: stress-free, simple, beautiful, and affordable. This is not some random blog, or online directory. I’ve personally spent years traveling the state to find the best wedding locations, and work with a hand-picked team of the best wedding vendors in Colorado.

What You Pay…
$1,300 + Travel
(weddings before 9am have a +$100 travel fee)
What You Get…
1-on-1 Personal Wedding Planner
- Wedding Photography (1 hour)
- Wedding Officiant
I’ll connect you with my photographer and officiant, and coordinate the where/when logistics of the ceremony.
You’ll also get full access to my dining/lodging/salon guides.
And I’ll provide personalized guidance on obtaining the marriage license.
Wedding Photography
Professional photographer who specializes in outdoor micro-weddings. You’ll receive one hour of coverage, and receive 75 edited images digitally within 30 days.
You can add on an additional 30mins of coverage for +$100.
Wedding Officiant
Professional wedding officiant who will personalize and perform your ceremony (secular or religious), and sign the marriage license.
Colorado does not legally require a wedding officiant. I can provide a guide to “Self-Officiate” or have a “Friend-Officiate” instead, and you save $275.

You hire me on.
I coordinate you’re ceremony and connect you with my Photographer and Officiant.

You pick up the marriage license (I’ll provide guidance on this)
Step 6
Get Married!
You’ll meet up at the Ceremony Site on the day of the wedding and my Photographer/Officiant will guide the day!
Ceremony Sites
Below you’ll find a variety of ceremony sites that work great for micro-weddings in Colorado. Each of them offer a unique variety of views, and they are all free to use (my team holds all necessary permits). If you want to keep things simple, Denver and Boulder are our most affordable options, and also the closest to Denver International Airport, if you’re flying in. If you want a bit more adventure, the locations in Summit County and Breckenridge are a great option for mountain elopements. Estes Park is another beautiful mountain town (near the famous Rocky Mountain National Park). We also have a great location near Colorado Springs, that features world famous red rock formations for photos.
Max Guest Counts
Each location has a max guest count. “Guests” include ALL human beings who are not the couple getting married, and not my wedding vendors. These maximums are 100% not flexible.

We are not able to work with photographers/videographers from outside my network.

This is a busy public park, people will be around most days, but it’s most busy Friday-Sunday. Early mornings have the least amount of people around.

No seating, music, or decorations allowed
This is a VERY busy public park, expect other photoshoots/weddings in the area. Weekends are highly discouraged. Only really slows down early mornings.

There is a Highway relatively close to this location that creates a mild ambient noise in the area. This is a busy public park, people will be around most days, but it’s most busy Friday-Sunday. Early mornings have the least amount of people around.

No seating, music, or decorations allowed
This is a high alpine environment with volatile weather conditions, and can be very windy. Additionally the location requires a 5min walk on a dirt trail, and may require stepping over a small “stream”. While this location is also popular, it is big enough that we are able to hike in a bit and get away from people.

This is a smaller area than Option 5, and generally doesn’t have a lot of people in the area. I personally like Option 5 because of the alpine lakes, but this option has a nice “Top of the World” vibe.
